Hello and thank you for stopping by to learn a little bit about me!
My name is Tina, as you probably figured out! I am first and foremost a child of God, a wife to my hubby of 20+ years, mother to 8 very special (crazy) children and Mimi to 14 grands! We have an amazing wonderful. loud, crazy blended family. Our baby is now 18 and still keeps us crazy busy with school and sports and I AM A DESTIN FLORIDA PHOTOGRAPHER!
I am a very busy woman, but MOST OF ALL I AM BLESSED! Blessed to live on the Emerald Coast of Destin and work as a photographer in the outdoor studios that God created just for you and me! What could be better than working barefoot on the beach? Traipsing through the woods or fields of flowers? Meeting new people every day and documenting their lives and special moments?
I also have a studio located in Defuniak Springs (about 45 minutes from Destin City Center) for those of you who are just not into on location/outdoor portraits! I love doing studio work too!
I am southern from the top of my head to the bottom of my little toes. I call everyone “Honey” or “Sweetie”. (I also do this because I am terrible at remembering names! I will remember your face forever, but that name thing just eludes me.) I never meet a stranger and I talk way too much. I think that every day should be filled with sunshine and romance. I think you should dance in the rain with your husband at least once in your life. I believe that children are the best gift GOD gave us and newborn babies are better than Hershey’s chocolate. I love living life. I believe everything happens for a reason and hugs, kisses and chocolate make all hurts better.
I love photography! I have had a camera in my hand for as long as I can remember but actively started pursuing my craft at the age of 16. Yes 16, crazy right? I am constantly striving for new levels of greatness and expertise by attending workshops and seminars all over the United States. I love photographing people but also the world we live in.
I love being able to use a camera to express my feelings, thoughts, and experiences and I love being able to share my photography with others. It is truly a gift to work as a photographer and meet new and interesting people every day and be able to share my love of photography with them and document an important time in their lives. I cannot express in words the joy I feel when a client “raves” over their finished portraits, it is truly an amazing experience every time.
My goal is to capture portraits that you will cherish for many generations to come and to make the experience enjoyable and one you will remember.
