Senior Portraits are a right of passage. The schools contract photographers who come in with a goal of getting the most seniors photographed in a single day resulting in all the children having the exact same images. Here at Tina Smith Photography we make your senior session about you. We will work with you on selecting the outfits for your session, how to apply your makeup for the best look in your images and how to keep your hair styled in an outside environment. We take time to learn about your likes and dislikes so that we know what you want our of your senior experience. You will have one of a kind images for your senior portfolio that show who you are at that point in your life.
Children’s photography is probably one of the most important aspects of photography to me. I love children and I think that shows in my work. Our children grow up so fast and it is hard to remember all those important milestones that they have went through. I recommend that your babies be photographed at birth(newborn session), three months, six months, nine months and one year and then yearly after that. That first year is so full of changes and you don’t want to miss out on any of those memories. We offer a grown me plan for the first year which covers all those first year milestone sessions and ends with the one year cake smash and a printed album including your favorite shots from the first year. We offer children’s photography in studio, on the beach and in our local parks.
Engagement and couples photography are all about documenting your love. Love is a precious thing and should be cherish and captured to preserve those memories forever. Engagement portraits can be used to announce your upcoming wedding, save the date cards and the all important guest book and table settings! They are also great as a trail run for those important wedding images. You get the chance to relax and just be you and have fun in front of the camera. Couples sessions are for those who may be newly dating and haven’t hit that engagement period yet or for those of us who have been married FOREVER! If you tell me the last time you had a picture taken of just the two of you was on your wedding day, I may just cry! In this day and age if you have been together for a very long time, you have accomplished a great feat, you should have pictures to document that great love and celebrate it!
Maternity portraits can be all about the expecting mom or include the whole family, the choice is yours. There is nothing more special that bringing new life into the world and the anticipation of that little babe should be recorded for posterity’s sake. Women do glow and are just beautiful to photograph during their pregnancy. We can help you decide if you want traditional family styled maternity portraits of if you want to go with the modern maternity session in a flowing gown. Both sessions are equally beautiful.
