Children’s Portraits in The Park

We also provide children’s portraits in the local Destin area parks and nature trails. They are a great alternative to beach portraits if beach just isn’t your child’s cup of tea! Or when your child just hates the beach sand or is terrified of the waves and water.  Destin has some of the most beautiful state parks with old mossy oaks, green grass fields. fountains and beautiful flowers depending on the time of year. So if the beach is not your thing, have no fear we have you covered with  Portraits in the Park! Take a look at our portfolio and you will see that there is more to Destin than the beach. These sessions are also great for those of you who book late and I can’t get you in for a beach session! We have shaded parks that are great for photography all day long and not just sunrise and sunset. We would love to photograph your children in one of our beautiful Destin Florida state parks or local botanical areas. We even have some pretty amazing spots in the woods! The best part,  you can still have a beautiful portrait to remember your vacation by and you capture great memories of your children. The parks are open from 8AM until sunset and are never crowded like the beaches. This gives us more room to run, play and have a great time while capturing amazing art portraits to hang in your home. Watercolor has one of the prettiest parks in our area and people flock to it every year for portraits. With green lawns year round, fountains, bridges, wooded tree covered trails and flowers galore, there is sure to be a sport for everyone’s taste. Children love this area for the water alone and I usually let them splash in the fountains at the end of their sessions.

Eden Gardens State Park is another favorite non-beach location for children’s portraits. There’s tons of green grassy areas for the kids to run and play. Huge majestic oaks with hanging moss, reflection ponds, fountains and flowers and more. It is such a beautiful area.

Hammock Bay in Freeport is another great location for children’s photography. With lots of trails, bridges, little tree lined ponds and more, we always have a great time at this location.
